Mid April I was contacted about helping a local business man out by the name of Chris Tonge from Ultimate Packaging. Chris has asked Covenham Water Ski Club to teach and train him to complete his 'Ultimate Ski Challenge'. His challenge is to ski up and around the River Humber to various points of interest.

After a few short phone calls and emails a few of the members agreed to help Chris in his challenge and aid in him raising £50000 for

St Andrews Children Hospice.

Reef Rash in Cleethorpes had kindly offered to donate his water sport clothing ,so he took himself off for his 1st fitting! Sunday 2nd of May was to be the start of his lessons at Covenham Water Ski Club and as Murphy's law came into effect, windy and cool can be the best description of the weather.

A few words on the jetty of do's and don'ts and we headed off to find some flat water for it all to begin.

Well we are now 4 weeks into Chris's training, and apart from the British weather things are going well. Chris is now consistently coming up out of the water. A few hard falls aside we are well on the way to making him to a half decent Water Skier.
